【Public Relations Department】 Cultural festival !!

Hello, this is the Public Relations Department.

Suddenly, our school had a cultural festival. The cultural festival is one of the three major events of our school, and a variety of performances were done at this year's festival. The theme of this year's cultural festival was, "The Story You Know: Come around again, and Happy Ending. This theme was based on the idea of "likening the cultural festival to a story and hoping that it will have a happy ending that makes everyone laugh. In this issue of the school diary, I would like to introduce the happy ending of the cultural recital.

The 1st grade students' performance: "That Time I Got Reincarnated as into a peach."

The performance were, which went back and forth between video and stage, impressed us with its camera work, editing, and acting skills that were on par with those of the third-year students. The content looked back over the past year in the form of a story, and Momotaro and his friends appeared on stage, giving the performance a realistic feel and a sense of dynamism.

2nd grade students' performance: "Report on Work Experience Activities"

Each group presented their experiences gained during 2 day work experience. Although the work experience requires each student to act with a sense of responsibility, the performance were full of humor and did not give off such a rigid image. The performance was especially impressive in that they introduced the work in the form of a play or like a TV program, and the content conveyed what the second-year students had learned well.

3rd grade students' performance : "The Little Prince

The story was based on the well-known book "The little Prince," that was written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, but it was an "if story" that branched off from the book. The original story was adapted and the inhabitants of the star were made into funny and unique characters by the unique expressions of our school students, and there were many scenes that made us laugh. Although the performance lasted for almost one hour, it was a performance that everyone could enjoy without getting bored.

Student Council Project: "Event Produce"

All the members worked on one thing and deepened their interaction. "To fulfill the 'wants' of students so that they can lead a fulfilling life. This project was created to achieve this goal. The event held this time was "Students who wished to make a performance freely in front of all of the students in our school". A total of six groups gave performances at the cultural festival . They started with a dance, sang in a band, danced, and some performed flash math. It was a time when not only the presenters but also the audience could experience the unexpected aspects of their classmates and the diverse personalities and skills of the students of our school.

The cultural festival was held on October 18, and each grade had been preparing for it since summer vacation. Even those who did not participate in the presentation made exhibits, manuscripts, and props for the school. Although not introduced here, the brass band performed on the day of the event and enlivened the venue, and the art club created works of art to decorate the school. There was also an "English speech contest" in which several students gave presentations in English. Which was a great opportunity for the students to showcase their special skills.

I think it was a cultural festival in which everyone created a story and had a happy ending. Goodbye!!
